What is the Waterproof Biothane Fi Collar Made of?
- Fitted with a highly polished nickel-plated or brass-plated zinc diecast side release buckle
- PVC coated nylon webbing (Biothane) is flexible and strong.
- Solid cast brass and cast chrome plated d-rings
- Available in 22 colors vibrant colors of Biothane.
- Biothane used is now a Mid Weight biothane, as it works best with Series 3 end links. Learn more here. (Originally used heavy weight).
- Easily adjusts to correct size by repositioning the 2-part post/screw set. Some assembly required to adjust to correct size.

What is the correct way to measure what size collar needed for my pup? Should i measure from buckle to buckle of his existing fi collar? I have an 18" which is between sizes listed. Thanks.
For our Fi Collars we measure according to neck size, so include the Fi Device in the measurement as well as one side of the buckle (since itll be snapped together when worn. We are happy to do a custom size if you are in between sizes, I would recommend something like a 17-20".

What is series 2 and 3/3 there is no explanation sooo i dont know what to choose .....
Hi there! These will be for our Fi Compatible Collars, The Series 2 will be silver in appearance and a little wider, the series 3/3+ will be black with magnet end links. Can you extend the collar is it adjustable? either little bigger or shorter
Easily adjusts to correct size by repositioning the 2-part post/ screw set through the different holes. It'll be adjustable in the size range noted ie 12-15" will adjust to 12'", 13", 14" and 15".

My dog is allergic to nylon and has minimal fur in his neck. Will he tolerate this product better ?
Hi there! Every dog is different, however from our experience the biothane is usually gentler on the pups neck than Nylon. The only other thing I would recommend considering is if your pup has any metal allergies, since a few of the components are metal. If so, I might consider the Fi Compatible Lightweight Biothane Collar - with the black plastic buckle.

I love Lolly’s new biothane Fi friendly collar! Lolly gets bad rashes from nylon collars so having a biothane option works so great for her. I love that I could customize her buckle to inform folks that she is deaf. She is so pretty in pink!
