All of our collars, leashes, and accessories are made by hand here in New Mexico. By whose hands, you ask? Well, any given day you can find this fabulous staff of sewers, embroiderers, packers, shippers, designers and more creating your dog’s gear, by hand with love. We can’t say enough about how awesome our staff is. Our customers are pretty awesome too, both of which make Mimi Green a super wonderful place to work! We strive to pay our workers a living wage and are committed to keeping our production in the USA. Family owned and operated since 2007.

I have 2 reviews to leave for the Waterproof Dog Collar and the Lightweight Waterproof Dog Collar. Both are great collars!
The Waterproof is made of a thicker weight, it’s tougher to bend, tougher to adjust, and has a secure buckle closure. If you have a dog that is a puller, will be tough on the collar, or one you want to be sure the collar will stay on, this is the collar for your dog! The color we chose was Wine.
The Lightweight Waterproof Dog Collar is a nice all round collar. It’s a thinner weight, bends easier, and is easy to adjust. It’s a perfect collar for small/medium dogs, puppies, and if you’re walking/running your dog in a harness. If your dog is strong and pulls, this collar isn’t recommended. I like the lightweight better as it feels like a more comfortable collar for dogs to wear. We ordered color Cloud Blue in the lightweight collar.
We also have the Nylon Webbing Mimi Green collar, but the waterproof collars are much nicer and easier maintenance wise.
Great product! Waterproof, easy to clean & still flexible – engraved info on buckle is so nice – no hanging tags – biothene is the best – I had customize size made so it fits very nice – this is 2nd collar I purchased – one for each dog
Lola loves her new collar and I can tell she feels pretty in it 🙂 I ordered an orange one first and was so impressed with the craftsmanship that I ordered this one here in strawberry coral. Lola has allergies and this collar really helps. She doesn’t seem to scratch as much as she does with a fabric collar. The collar also washes off easily. It also feels good supporting a small business. Yes, it takes longer to receive than Amazon Prime but this is handmade with love. Couldn’t be happier!
