My dog’s current collar is adjusted to 17 1/2” for a snug bit comfortable fit. 17” would be too small and 18” would be too big. Should I order the 15 to 18” size or do a custom order?
I would order the 15-18" and just make a note at checkout that you need an adjustment hole at 17.5".

How chew proof are biothane collars? My dog keeps chewing, and removing, my other dog’s collar.
Hi Danielle! I would say no collar is truly chewproof, however the heavyweight biothane is one of the most durable options on the market.

First, let me just say, this is hands down one of the best collars I have ever seen. I feel like it has a very sleek, classic, and bougie aesthetic and absolutely love the way Archie looks in it. We actively searched for a waterproof collar that wouldn’t smell because Archie loves to go swimming. We hesitated to try this specific collar because we were worried that it might pull his hair or be annoying to him, but these were unfounded fears. Archie appears to be very comfortable in this collar and doesn’t even notice it. The collar has already been tested, it dries almost instantly, doesn’t smell, and appears very robust and durable, and the buckle clasps nicely and stays secure.
Two things that I wish I had known before hand are 1- I wish I had a preview of the name on the buckle prior to purchasing. I like the font and the funny way it looks because of the letters in his name, but had I known it would look like this in advance, I probably would have put his name in all lower case or all capital letters. 2- I wish there was a second screw/rivet (?) that I could put in his collar to decrease the big loop that is caused by sizing the collar. I could probably cut off the excess, but I don’t want too, instead I will try to order the extra hardware from the website to make the adjustable side look similar to the other side of the collar.
With all that being said, I already plan to continue to buy these collars and to tell every other dog owner I meet how much I like them. It is at least double what I normally spend on a dog collar, but it looks so darn good on him and checks all the required boxes, I am sold on it.
