How chew proof are biothane collars? My dog keeps chewing, and removing, my other dog’s collar.
Hi Danielle! I would say no collar is truly chewproof, however the heavyweight biothane is one of the most durable options on the market.

I love it! I adopted a shelter dog and was unsure on size because he hadn’t been picked up yet. It was perfect and I love the option resize within the collar or to buy another size without having to rebuy the buckle. I love the color! I was satisfied with the fact I probably wouldn’t get it before going to get him (6 days) but it was in my mailbox in 5 days and I got to have it when I picked him up to make it all official that he had a name and had a home. So I’m so grateful in my case to have had such a fast turnaround and shipping time.
Love these collars! I have two dogs and it’s great how easy they are to wash and don’t smell. However, one of my dog’s collars falls off of her multiple times a day. I constantly have to find it out in the yard, worries me if she were to ever get out she wouldn’t have ID on her. My other dog’s collar stays on him fine.
