    • Measure the middle of your dog's neck where you would like the collar to sit. A piece of string or a soft measuring tape will work.
    • Make sure your dog is standing (or else you will get a collar that is too big like I did when I measured my sitting Pug!)
    • If you are going to walk your pup using this collar, make sure to get a snug enough measurement so that it doesn't pull off while walking
    • The thing not to do is to measure your dog's flat buckle style collar. Beaded collars are measured for the circumference, not length
