I was skeptical of biothane collars because all of the waterproof collars and leashes I’ve encountered were made of stiff, unattractive materials. I had been struggling to find a 6-foot leather leash to match my boy’s collars. I was a bit desperate when I caved and ordered this leash, expecting it to serve as a placeholder until I could get a proper leather leash custom made. I did not expect to fall in love with this leash. The material is soft but durable, and it’s standing up beautifully to the antics of a 140# adolescent Great Dane while allowing me to comfortably maintain control.
